  • POSITION PURPOSE: Position will research and analyze the assigned industries, to identify potential investment opportunities and monitor existing investments in the Broadly Syndicated Loan Market.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high level of knowledge on current/evolving industry trends and monitor primary and secondary credit market activity in the leveraged loan/high yield space via networking/conversation with research analysts, third parties, and colleagues within the leveraged loan space.
  • Ability to perform Discounted Cash Flow Analysis/NPV analysis.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and/or legal documents.

Requirements

  • Ability to interact with outside institutions in professional manner, seeking guidance from research analysts/market color from capital markets professionals.
  • Ability to write correspondence and/or reports.
  • Ability to learn/adapt to technological platforms OFS employs on proprietary basis.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field of study.
  • Ability to forecast/project based on drivers of applicable business.

Nice to have

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in credit markets, including formal credit training, financial analysis and modeling, broadly syndicated loan market experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Prior investment banking experience a plus.
  • CPA, CFA and/or MBA a plus.

Compensation

  • Specifically, the analyst will be responsible for building/maintaining financial models, preparing written investment memoranda and quarterly/annual portfolio management reports.
