About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead integration and test activities for rocket motor systems, including preparation, execution and post-test analysis.
- Develop, maintain and standardize test plans, procedures and data collection strategies to ensure consistency and best practices across the test organization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test processes, tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency, repeatability and reliability.
- Lead TRRs (Test Readiness Reviews) and other technical reviews.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and lead resolution of test anomalies.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills; ability to guide and influence engineers across multiple teams, lead complex projects and technical discussions and make high-impact decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related STEM field from an accredited college/university.
- Seven (7) to Ten (10) years of hands-on experience in test engineering within propulsion systems, aerospace or related industries
- hands-on experience with rocket motor integration and testing.
- Proven track record of driving results in high-pressure test environments.
- ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Extensive experience with integration and testing of complex hardware and software systems.
- Advanced programming proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, Python and Simulink, including developing, debugging and optimizing test software.
- Strong working knowledge and practical experience with serial communication protocols (RS-422, RS-485, CAN) used to support integration, troubleshooting and coordination of test systems.
- Strong knowledge of MIL-STD and aerospace qualification/acceptance test practices, with the ability to apply and guide their use in complex test campaigns.
- Experience with test software development, automation and high-fidelity simulation tools.

Compensation
- California pay range
- $125,700 - $173,700 USD
- Nevada pay range
- $119,415 - $165,015 USD
