About the role

  • This role works collaboratively with other Radiology Supervisors, Mangers, Faculty and staff to ensure a high-level departmental safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • This role reports to the Modality Manager and is responsible for the clinical functions and processes for assigned Radiology area.
  • This position provides education to assigned team, students, residents, and other learners.

Responsibilities

  • The Radiology Technologist Supervisor-Specialist Team job works directly with lead technologists and front line staff to solve problems and reduce barriers to success.Implement new initiatives, programs and policies.
  • The Radiology Technologist Supervisor-Specialist Team job supervises, oversees, maintains and improves business functions and processes related to his/her areas of responsibility.
  • This position also maintains technical competency in all areas of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Radiation Science, Business, or closely related field from an accredited program is strongly preferred.
  • Independent action(s) required:

Nice to have

  • Graduation from a JRC Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology that is recognized by the ARRT

Compensation

  • $20k-$50k

  • This position develops staff education and competencies including educational materials, competency forms, etc.
  • Master's Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or closely related field from an accredited program is preferred.
