Requirements
- Experience using MS Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to use a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Must be able to Prepare and review work orders, material requisitions, reports, and other documentation.
- Must also have the ability to test and troubleshoot a motor and motor controls.
- Must have fabrication skills, including the ability to perform repair welding and basic drilling, bolting, and torquing for various fasteners.
- Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision, as well as within a strong team environment.
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), at least 7 years' maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience using MS Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Must be able to use a Computerized Maintenance Management System. Must be able to Prepare and review work orders, material requisitions, reports, and other documentation.
- Must understand and be able to explain basic electrical theory, including OHMS law, and be able to demonstrate understanding of simple circuits, both AC and DC, up to 480 Volts. Must also have the ability to test and troubleshoot a motor and motor controls.
- Must understand and be able to explain basic fluid power principles (hydraulics and pneumatics) such as the difference between flow and pressure and how to calculate force of a cylinder.
- Must understand and be able to explain basic mechanical principles, such as how to change the speed of a rotating assembly and how to calculate the force needed to move an object.
- Must have fabrication skills, including the ability to perform repair welding and basic drilling, bolting, and torquing for various fasteners. Lead and participate in the design and fabrication of metal structures (brackets, supports, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization, including the ability to present information to a group of co-workers, supervisors, managers, or higher-level executives.
