About the role
- Working closely with senior leadership, you will connect the dots between engineering, manufacturing, construction, and operations to keep our highest-priority timelines on track.
- By applying first-principles thinking, you will help us treat Form Factory as a fully integrated product, ultimately enabling the most advanced high-volume battery manufacturing facility in the world.
Responsibilities
- Be the bridge between factory engineering / production and the facility design team.
- Manage the change request process from the inputs phase through design acceptance.
- Create and manage the design schedule for each project.
- Organize design review meetings: set the agenda, take notes, assign action items, and verify completion of the tasks.
- Manage the contract for design consultants: write RFPs for design service, hold touch base meetings, approve invoices, track performance, ect.
- File design related drawings, specs, reports, and similar information in Procore.
- Collaborate with procurement and the project manager for execution to determine the most
- Expertise in factory design, manufacturing, material flow and construction.
