  • Responsible for providing a high level of customer service to donors and other GCNA departments.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operates a vehicle to collect, transport and/or deliver donations, processed merchandise and other materials, as directed.
  • Performs daily vehicle maintenance checks.
  • Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.
  • Responsible for safely operating a vehicle to pick up, transport and/or deliver donated goods for Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay.
  • Respects and has knowledge of cultures, ethnicities, gender, sexual orientations and age groups other than ones own, able to work effectively with all.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
  • Must have a current MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) that has no citation convictions (other than parking) within past 3 years.
  • Must be able to read maps and communicate using GW issued radio or phone equipment.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and proven ability to interact effectively with diverse customer base.
  • Must be able to lift minimum 25 lbs.
  • Must have strong adherence to all safety policies and wearing all required personal protective equipment at all times.
  • May be required to work overtime to complete assigned tasks.
  • Unloads vehicles and moves items as required.
