About the role
- The department has a strong emphasis on pharmacology and pharmacogenomics research that will translate to improving patient therapy.
- The position may share with other staff after-hours and weekend on-call coverage of activities.

Responsibilities
- Perform other related duties as assigned in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department and the institution.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Working knowledge and understanding of underlying concepts and principles of experimental design.
Requirements
- Familiarity with clinical trial processes and research protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific area is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), Registered Nurses, Directors, and other healthcare and research professionals.
- Working knowledge of experimental design principles and the ability to apply scientific concepts in a research setting.
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Perform procedures using established techniques with efficiency and independence.
- Provide some lab operational support with knowledge of the lab environment.
- Execute complex procedures (e.g., DNA extraction) and provide basic troubleshooting of experiments.
- Accurately record experimental procedures and data.
Nice to have
- Experience handling, processing, and documenting clinical research samples
- proficiency with pipetting techniques is strongly preferred.
Compensation
- In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St.
- Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
- This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
- It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
- A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $26.00 - $45.50 per hour for the role of Senior Researcher - Center for Translational Pharmacology.
