About the role

  • Serves as a cloud-native technical resource to determine business needs and recommend solutions across the broader cloud and platform engineering ecosystems.
  • Aligns solutions with standards and best practices, working with cross-functional engineering and business teams.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of software engineering, digital engineering and application modernization experience, including a minimum of 5 years of experience designing and developing cloud and microservices at scale.
  • Must also have demonstratable relevant experience optimizing Kubernetes deployed workloads on cloud platform and experience with AI development tools.
  • Must have experience leading peers in the delivery of enterprise solutions.
  • Proven experience with platform operating models and product-driven digital engineering.
  • Experience with large-scale cloud migrations and modernization initiatives.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering disciplines (i.e., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, etc.).
  • Professional level certifications on public cloud platforms (Google, AWS and Azure preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of at least one cloud provider between Google, AWS and Azure and working knowledge of other clouds.
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization.
  • Experience with specific tools and platforms:
  • Coding / Scripting Languages: Java/J2EE, C#, Python, Ruby, Go
  • Software Development Frameworks: React, Angular, Spring/SpringBoot,.Net
  • Database: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL

Compensation

  • $75.22 - $125.36 / hourBanner Health is committed to pay equity and transparency.
  • Actual pay determined at offer will be based on years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location, along with a review of current employees in similar roles to ensure pay equity is achieved and maintained.
