About the role
- Use this position if company does not breakout software development positions such as Software Engineer (Applications) or Software Engineer (Systems) and / or is involved in full stack development.
- Software development engineers using common development methodologies including Waterfall and Agile should be matched to our software development engineering roles.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable software applications and services using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development plans.
- Develop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure software reliability and stability.
- Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance user experience.
- Contribute to the architectural design of new features and systems, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language such as C#, Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated services.
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
