About the role
- The Daily Wire is seeking a Technical Supervisor for our Boca Raton office!
- This person will be a hands-on leader responsible for high-quality production of all Boca-based programming-primarily The Ben Shapiro Show and related projects.
- This role oversees all technical operations, including studio and field production, file management, and remote setups.
Nice to have
- Ensure consistent quality control across all cameras, lighting, and audio systems through regular calibration and proactive troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- 5+ years of experience in live or recorded video production, ideally within a broadcast or digital media studio environment
- Experience working with conservative media or fast-paced talk/news formats is a plus!
- Expert knowledge of camera systems (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, RED, etc.), lighting instruments, and audio signal flow incl AVID systems, Pro Tools, and Logic
- Familiarity with video switching, routing, and monitoring systems (e.g., Blackmagic ATEM, Ross, etc.)
- Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or other NLE systems for basic editing and troubleshooting
- Proven ability to work independently on travel shoots, managing every technical detail from pre-production through delivery
- Ability to travel
