About the role

  • Oversee data collection and analysis from internal and external sources; ensure data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Prepare clear, structured presentations for senior leadership using effective storytelling and data visualization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain forecasting models using Excel and SQL to support performance monitoring and strategic planning.
  • Generate insights and provide business intelligence expertise; collaborate with partners to design and implement strategies that meet performance objectives.
  • Analyze business results to identify performance gaps; design and drive actionable improvement plans.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to senior management to inform decisions on performance and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Intelligence, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business intelligence, performance measurement, operations, or strategy.
  • Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., modeling, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, financial analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • ability to gather requirements and present insights to stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Business Analytics or a related field.
  • Experience in the financial services industry (e.g., banking, lending, credit, underwriting).
  • Knowledge of Python and/or R for data analysis.
