About the role

  • Here's a breakdown of what you'll be doing: Prepare monthly management accounts across areas of responsibility with accountability for monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Finance Business Partners to deliver insightful variance analysis and commentary against budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Support the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support the FP&A team by providing financial insight for commercial decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting tools, and systems.
  • Support ERP and BI system enhancements and ensure data integrity across platforms.

Requirements

  • Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)- 3 years plus PQE.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in management accounting, ideally within retail, fashion, or FMCG.
  • Solid understanding of relevant accounting standards (Group reports under FRS 102) and multi-currency consolidations.

  • The Role: The Senior Management Accountant will play a key part in managing the month-end close process and maintaining controls across the MI team to deliver accurate information to the business in a timely manner.
