- As a Hospice Aide you are an essential member of the Hospice team by performing various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort.

Responsibilities
- We CARE for our patients like they are our own FAMILY.
- Maintain good relationships with the patient, the patient's family, and staff.
- You'll perform personal care needs for your patient and attend to their requests promptly.
- Perform range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency.
Requirements
- Must be a CNA or HHA in Indiana.

Nice to have
- One year of experience is preferred, preferably in Hospice care.
Skills
- Compassionate communicator with a positive attitude.
- Patience is a virtue when working with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers.
- Attention to detail is critical, as is being observant and following directions.
- Provide care that includes baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linen as often as assigned.
- Assist in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
- Assist in meal prep and feeding patients as assigned.
- Assist in ambulation and exercise as instructed by the primary care nurse or therapist.

- Reports any changes to the patient's medical and living conditions to the supervisor or the primary nurse.
