Our Sodexo team has an exciting new client opportunity with Alberta Corrections to join Sodexo as our next Area General Manager Food Service located in Edmonton, AB.
Qualifications - Post secondary education, ideally in business management, hospitality, facilities coordination, Environmental Services.

In your new role as our Area General Manager Food Services, you will lead and direct multiple teams through their daily activities.
You will lead your team through food safety training and lead a strong safety culture within a very high volume food service environment within a Corrections facility
Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings

You must be able to complete a Criminal Record Check as well as Vulnerable Sector check as well as Provincial Government Security Clearance
9 years in similar or progressive roles in hospitality, guest services and catering
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing safety programs, return to work/modified duties programs and strong familiarity with WCB/COR Audits and other related safety programs
Minimum 5 -7 years in progressive leadership, supervisory, and managerial roles.
High level of proficiency in MS office suite applications
Project Management & Project analysis: Ability to read, analyze, interpret and forecast a project's cost reports and determine the status of the job regarding schedule and costing
Ability to pass both a standard background check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
