Responsibilities
- Lead large/complex projects.
- Help shape the product and design roadmaps.
- Collaborate across functions with Product and Design, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Experience and other engineering leaders to deliver cohesive, platform-wide solutions.
- You leverage business and organizational awareness to outline quarter-long technology strategies and drive implementation across the organization, elevating the quality, functionality, and potential of Sydecar's core product.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, with a proven track record of technical leadership and driving org-wide impact.
- Experience managing the complete project lifecycle, transforming intricate ideas and ambiguous requirements into successful launches independently.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, while also thriving in a team environment, often guiding the work of several other engineers across multiple projects.
Nice to have
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript is highly preferred.
Skills
- Our software development is AI-centric and requires demonstrated experience leveraging agentic software development workflows

- You are a Product engineer first, helping our core applications team improve the experience for deal organizers and investors, who combine to close hundreds of millions of dollars in venture funding annually.

- Infrastructure: Maintained as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
