About the role
- The Toro Company is a homegrown, Minnesota-based company that has been in business since 1914.
- This role will have site EHS Program responsibility at the Windom, MN facility.
Responsibilities
- Implement and standardize Toro's Safety Management System across the region.
- Lead hazard identification, risk assessment, and injury elimination efforts.
- Support incident investigations and implement effective corrective measures.
- Manage regulatory inspections and related documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations on equipment, facilities, and capital projects.
- Build relationships with internal teams, vendors, insurers, and regulatory agencies.
- 3+ years leading and building comprehensive safety programs with evidence of continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead and direct teams and/or committees.
- Ability to conceive, develop, and execute EHS related projects within a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Must have the ability to obtain a professional certification within 3 years after starting in the EHS Manager role.
- shift but will occasionally be required to work alternate shifts as needed for training, investigation, and culture development.

- Exhibits exceptional leadership skills and able to work across functional boundaries to achieve a zero-harm culture.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field required such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

- Ability to develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive health and safety incident prevention programs.
- Skilled in the standards, concepts, practices, and procedures within the health, safety and environmental fields.
