About the role

This position is in the Network Engineering and Operations Directorate within House Information Resources (HIR), Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, U.S. House of Representatives.
This role serves as the Network Communication Specialist.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least three years of demonstrated experience managing Cisco networks.
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
The candidate must be knowledgeable in technologies such as VPN, configuring IPSEC tunnels, and DHCP scopes.
In order to be approved for the applicable badge, you must be a U.S. citizen.
The successful candidate must be available for 24x7 on-call emergency support.

Nice to have

Proficiency in network management, monitoring tools, and network routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, IEEE 802.x Ethernet) is essential.
Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA) are highly desired.
Remedy CTS experience is required Minimum of 3 years in specific experience with wide area network transport technologies.
