About the role

  • What You Will Need: Education and Experience - High School Diploma or equivalent. - A minimum of 0 - 2 years of related experience.
  • Reporting Relationships: Reports to a Manager, Director, or Executive level position.
  • Working Conditions: Work is primarily sedentary; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains databases for technical departments.
  • Maintains daily log-on of submittals.
  • Maintains sophisticated filing systems for technical departments.
  • Maintains graphics for technical departments.
  • Performs most of the general office or clerical duties for the assigned technical department, including but not limited to stamping and booking out submittals.
  • Learns other complex functions or computer applications in support of an Engineering or Technical Department.
  • The Technical Assistant is responsible for providing intermediate-level clerical support by performing routine duties as assigned and will work under the direct supervision of a Technical Manager.

Requirements

  • Supports technical staff of the department as required regarding project tracking, logging, filing, or responding to client requests, etc.
  • Intermediate skills required to use office machines or equipment such as ten-key adding machines, calculators, copiers, etc.
  • 2 years of related experience.
