Responsibilities
- Design standards-based instructional content and delivery systems including online instruction
- Deliver courses at all program levels
- Maintain a minimum of 5 office hours/week/semester
- Participate in meetings, activities, and gatherings, as appropriate, that support student achievement, school operations, and/or faculty/industry collaboration
- Use a student-centered focus to engage in regular data collection and program review/assessment; identify and recommend opportunities for program improvement to maintain industry relevance
- Build and sustain relationships with current and potential external partners, to include accreditors/inspectors, industry and K-12 partners
- Lead, manage and/or participate in subject specific industry advisory committees
- Collaborate with colleagues and serve on college and NSHE committees, as needed/assigned
- Maintain industry-standard knowledge and skill
- You choose how to invest your own and NSHE's contributions.
Requirements
- American Welding Society certification in SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and FCAW, as well as demonstrated ability to operate seismic approved E71T-8 flux-core wire, or ability to obtain without one year of hire

Compensation
- The salary grade is based on the selected candidate's level of academic preparation: COMMUNITY COLLEGE ACADEMIC SALARY GRADES.
- ACADEMIC SALARY SCHEDULE-COMMUNITY COLLEGES.
- Grade 1 (no degree): $49,728 - $65,889
- Grade 2 (BA): $51,591 - $68,358
- Grade 3 (MA): $58,626 - $77,680
- Overload Compensation
- Your contributions are made by pre-tax salary reduction and you are 100% vested from your first day.
