About the role

Pay - $14.00 per hour The Deckhand provides our guests with the highest level of customer service.

Management Systems · Understand and comply with the Safety Management System (SMS). · Understand and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). · Maintain Crew Qualification binder.
Regulatory Compliance · Collaborate with other Company personnel to remain attentive to regulatory requirements and alert to regulatory changes. · Assist Captain in ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations. · Assist Captain in ensuring vessel is in an inspection-ready condition at all times.
Other Duties · Perform other duties as assigned.

The Deckhand sells tickets, refreshments, and merchandise
handles mooring lines for docking and undocking
and monitors the river, vessel, and passengers to ensure safety.

The majority of work is performed in a marine environment in outdoor conditions with exposure to various temperatures and weather conditions, along with a moderate to loud noise level.
Marine operations are subject to varied wake and motion.
