About the role

  • The addition of a second manager will expand leadership capacity for proactive oversight, improve our responsiveness to staff and clinical needs, and strengthen leadership presence and operational consistency across all shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, coordinated nursing and technical patient care aligned with AMC's mission and core values.
  • Support and lead quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives within ECC services.
  • Ensure staffing levels and operational workflows appropriately support patient care demands.
  • Collaborate with the LVT Director of ECC, LVT Manager of ECC, and clinical staff to develop, evaluate, and improve policies, protocols, and quality standards for ECC nursing and technical services, ensuring compliance with national standards and state regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize patient flow and throughput across the Emergency Service and Intensive Care Unit.
  • Serve as a working supervisor, providing direct clinical support as an LVT approximately 60% of the time, delivering patient care while mentoring and coaching staff in real time.
  • Monitor and support the consistent delivery of high-quality nursing and technical care.
