About the role

The Ancillary Services Coordinator is charged with the verification and pre-authorization activities related to testing and special services provided by LifeStance Health and associated clinical practices.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong desire to work individually while meeting the needs of a national organization.
This position is a remote role with the ability to sit within any US locality where LifeStance is represented.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, talk and hear.
The employee is frequently required to walk.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
Support leadership with daily, weekly monthly reporting needs as required

High school diploma or GED equivalent required
2+ years of medical facility or medical office billing experience
Professional experience and understanding of insurance products and coverage types
Experience with automated billing systems preferred
Experience with training in business office activities is preferred
Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
Must have experience working with insurance companies, have knowledge of different types of coverage and polices
