About the role

  • The FAE is also responsible for defining and sharing current and emerging customer technical needs to improve tactical and strategic product positioning.

Responsibilities

  • This person will join the growing MPS San Jose team, serving as the technical support contact for key MPS accounts in the San Jose area.
  • Develop a solid technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions.
  • Provide thorough customer design support including schematic and PCB layout review
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow MPS business.

Requirements

  • BSEE/MSEE with 5+ years power management and analog systems experience.
  • Hands on experience with point-of-load DC-DC power conversion.
  • Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivated and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels written and oral.
  • Oral /written proficiency in English.
  • Ability to interface directly with customers and solve customer problems.
  • Willing to drive to local customers and spend time in lab as needed.

  • Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $130,000 - $180,000.
