About the role

This position will report directly to the head of the Electronics and QC Software Department.

Own and manage collaborative development activities involving internal and external partners from product specification through volume manufacturing stages.
The requisite management tasks will cover a very broad range of engineering domains from electronic and photonic integrated circuits, electronic, optical and mechanical sub-system design, electro-optical packaging, firmware, RTL bitstream and application software.
Drive the development to meet the schedule, specifications and cost targets.
Since our founding in 2016, our singular focus has been to build and deploy million-qubit, fault-tolerant quantum systems.

Experience in electro-optical data communication commercial product development.
Proven track record of successful project management.
A minimum of MSEE.
Strong inter-personal communication skill.
Decisive decision making capability in absence of complete data set.

$192,500 - $231,000 USD
Bay Area Pay Range
$220,000 - $265,000 USD
The ranges below reflect the target ranges for a new hire base salary.
One is for the Bay Area (within 50 miles of HQ, Palo Alto), the second one (if applicable) is for elsewhere in the US (beyond 50 miles of HQ, Palo Alto).
If there is only one range, it is for the specific location of where the position will be located.
