About the role
- The Tax Manager specializing in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) group at Anchin will play a strategic leadership role in overseeing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services tailored to the AEC industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements, ensuring exceptional service delivery and fostering long-term relationships.
- Manage tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities, ensuring accurate documentation and successful resolution.
- Develop and implement advanced tax strategies aligned with client goals and industry trends.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in tax compliance and reporting.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to contribute to business development initiatives and expand the AEC tax practice.
- The Tax Manager will lead a team of professionals, collaborate with partners, and work closely with clients to optimize tax positions, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive value through proactive tax planning.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience, with a strong focus on the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
- Proven track record of managing complex tax engagements and delivering strategic client solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and staff development.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Deals with technical issues comfortably and can complete work at a high level of proficiency.
- Ability to apply technology solutions to work.
- Education:
- CPA required.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Compensation
- Competitive annual salary in the range of $130,000 to $185,000 based on individual's experience level.
