About the role

Job Title: Sr Manufacturing Technician - Location: Framingham, MA About the Job: This is a 12-hour, rotating position in a large-scale cGMP biologics facility.
Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of complex tasks under general guidance and in accordance with the manufacturing instruction set and current GMPs.

Maintains a safe working environment and reporting of incidents/accidents to Manufacturing management.
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in process area.
Performs SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) revisions and work order generation.
Interacts with other support functions such as Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing Engineering, MSIT, Validation, etc.
Performs in process analytical testing.
Supports plant floor continuous improvement initiatives.

High School diploma/GED with 1+ years of experience in a cGxP manufacturing environment, OR
Biotech Certificate or Associate's degree in a related field with 6 months of experience (including internships, co-ops, or laboratory work)
shift work hours may be required based on business needs.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., and bend/lift/move objects as part of the job.

Effectively uses process automation systems to operate production processes (i.e. DeltaV).
For influenza production roles (excluding FFIP roles): candidate must be able to be receive influenza vaccine which is required for building access
For aseptic area production roles (excluding Flu production tech roles): candidate must be able to obtain and maintain current aseptic gowning qualification
This position may be required to be moved or temporarily flexed to another department or building within the FFIP operation due to business needs.
Additionally, candidates should expect to work in multiple buildings.
Some over-time/off shift work hours may be required based on business needs.
We will attempt to provide as much advance notice as possible, two weeks where applicable if any such change is needed.
Able to stand for up to 8 hours a day (with occasional breaks)
