About the role

  • The Director of Operations is the leader responsible for driving excellence across manufacturing and service operations.
  • Work Environment - Manufacturing/office environment with periods of walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. - Requires visual acuity for computer‑based data entry and validation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long‑range operational strategies supporting growth, scalability, and financial performance.
  • Lead Logistics, transportation, and distribution performance.
  • Manage Warehouse Operations and Receiving for accurate material flow and inventory integrity.
  • Drive Value Stream Mapping and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and enhance throughput.
  • Partner with IT to advance automation and IT Integrations.
  • Lead supply chain planning, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Implement logistics and material handling systems that support growth.
  • Optimize working capital through best‑in‑class inventory practices.
  • Build strategic vendor partnerships to improve cost, quality, and reliability.
  • Lead and develop plant managers, supervisors, and operational teams.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership in manufacturing, distribution, or service environments preferred.
  • Experience in automotive, powersports, or high‑performance vehicle industries strongly preferred.
