About the role
- We're looking for a full-stack software engineer to join our team and help us grow our product.
- This is an early engineering role and will carry a lot of opportunities to work closely with the CTO and shape company direction and culture.
Responsibilities
- Assist in architectural and engineering design decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionality on product ideation and direction
- Define solutions to new problems and own the related projects
- Propose, demonstrate, and implement improvements to our tooling stack
- Help build an amazing, world-class product
- Experience building software solutions incorporating disparate aspects of complex business processes
Skills
- BA or BS (or Master's) in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 3-6 years of experience in software development
- Experience at fintech companies a major plus
- Proficiency in full-stack web development
- Proficiency with React
- Proficiency with Node.js or other back end frameworks like Rails or Flask
- Clear communication verbally and in writing with non-technical stakeholders
- Preferred candidates based in New York or San Francisco
- On-site 3 days a week in our office
