Responsibilities

  • Utilize AI-driven analytics to optimize resource allocation and infrastructure stability, ensuring seamless migration of workloads to cloud-native environments.
  • Drive continuous improvements, ensuring infrastructure remains agile, secure, and capable of supporting Empower's rapid growth and innovation targets.
  • Code Standards: Develop and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code best practices, ensuring consistent and efficient deployment across environments.
  • Mentor Talent: Build and nurture a high-performing engineering team, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.
  • Encourage a collaborative environment where team members can leverage AI tools to enhance problem-solving capabilities and drive innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to understand business needs, integrating their input into cloud infrastructure projects.
  • Risk Management: Develop comprehensive risk management strategies, leveraging AI to predict and mitigate potential threats.
  • Drive Innovation: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the exploration of emerging technologies and AI advancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation that drive business growth and maintain Empower's competitive edge.
  • Use AI insights to identify and leverage partnership opportunities that enhance Empower's infrastructure capabilities and support long-term growth.

Requirements

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.
  • Employees are regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with leadership experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successful cloud strategy execution and AI integration in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management in cloud environments.
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Required)
  • Azure Administrator Associate (Required)
  • Terraform Associate or Professional (Required)

Nice to have

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) - Strongly Preferred
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional (Preferred)
  • ITIL Foundation (Preferred)
