Responsibilities
- Develop on-the-job training programs for new personnel.
- Evaluate and document training records.
- Develop employee training requirements for new equipment.
- Perform frequent on-the-job inspections to ensure: safe working habits, safe work areas, high-quality workmanship and effectiveness of maintenance/repairs.
Requirements
- Must possess a minimum of eight (8) years maintenance experience in poultry or related industrial areas.
- This will include a minimum of four (4) years experience with emphasis on following:
- Show expertise in working with mechanical poultry processing machinery.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be a trained First Responder - Level A suit qualified.
- Must be a trained Haz-Mat responder at 40-hour level.
- Must be certified in Confined Space training.
- Must be current on CPR/First Aid certification.
- Must be trained in lock-out tag-out and safe work practices.
- Must be able to bend, stoop walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
Compensation
- $81,450 to $101,825 per year.
