About the role
- Join a high-impact HR team where your work directly enables employee mobility and enhances organizational compliance, while gaining practical expertise in key HR fields.
- Based in Montréal, this role covers immigration, HR compliance, and workplace health & safety, while also contributing to a variety of broader HR projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Immigration & Employee Mobility Coordinate end-to-end immigration processes (Canada, U.S. and other countries when needed) and support employees throughout.
- Manage work authorizations and documentation.
- HR Compliance & Audit Support Ensure compliance with policies, data governance, and regulations.
- Support compliance with OQLF requirements and actively contribute to the internal French committee.
- Act as the main contact with external safety partners (including the prevention mutual).
- You will own key processes that enable employees to work smoothly while ensuring the organization remains compliant and audit ready.
Requirements
- Proactively monitor work permit expirations and manage renewals in collaboration with employees and legal counsel when required.
- Success in this role depends on strong judgment and the ability to handle complex or changing situations.
