About the role
- Provide comprehensive care to inpatient thoracic surgical oncology patients
- Address the medical, surgical, and psychosocial needs of patients
Responsibilities
- Support evidence-based practice initiatives and contribute to quality improvement and research efforts
- Help implement and evaluate standards of care within the Thoracic Surgery service
Nice to have
- Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
- Master's degree in nursing with prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
- Related National NP certification
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience strongly preferred
- Graduate from an accredited PA program
- NCCPA certification
- Active New York State license or eligible for state licensure

- Strong clinical decision-making skills with the ability to make timely, effective decisions in complex clinical environments
- Ability to work effectively with complex and sometimes evolving information
- Adaptable and flexible in response to changing patient and operational needs
- Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams
- Flexible regarding scheduling needs

Compensation
- $136,400.00 - $225,100.00
