About the role
- Interpret information presented for formula preparation and prepare those formulas using the correct techniques relating to the nutritional care of patients.
- Accurately label all formula and tube feedings using the printed labels associated with formula order sheets.
- Participates in departmental changes pertaining to quality and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date records of formula inventory and availability; mindful of the

- Collaborate with appropriate Nutrition Services team members and clinical staff.
- Deliver and distribute all formula to respective patient unit on a timely basis and in proposed usage order.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent, required.
Skills
- Must complete the Formula Tech test as presented by Formula Room Coordinator, with yearly performance appraisal.
- Ability to read, understands and calculates weights and measures accurately, and exhibits basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret basic medical terminologies.
