About the role
- As a Utility Technician at Via, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and functionality of our vehicles.
- This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly through a wide range on the ground tasks.
Responsibilities
- inspecting vehicles for cleanliness, readiness and visual appearance and track out-of-service vehicles to optimize fleet supply
- Perform smaller maintenance tasks (e.g., tire swaps, light repairs)
- Perform vehicles cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Support the operations team with miscellaneous on-the-ground responsibilities, including maintaining and/or adjusting vehicle equipment and trade dress equipment, organizing workspaces, and assisting with local market initiatives
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam.Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Practical knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics and diagnostics is preferred (not mandatory)
