About the role
- This position is primarily responsible for leading and executing payroll system implementation projects for assigned clients.

- Lead payroll system implementation projects, including gathering information, coordinating with vendors, performing post-configuration verification, and providing support during go-live
- Manage client expectations, project schedules, deliverables, and overall project quality
- Execute the migration of payroll systems from legacy systems and perform data migration
- Analyze client payroll processes and design optimized system solutions
- May provide training to internal service operators and post-implementation support to ensure a smooth rollout
- Create and maintain documentation, including implementation guides and standard operating procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for payroll system implementation methodologies
Nice to have
- (Preferred) Associate's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- (REQUIRED) Experience in payroll processing at 2 or more companies, or experience implementing payroll systems
- (REQUIRED) Experience in system implementation, project management, or business process improvement
- (REQUIRED) Recent practical experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) payroll processing and system implementation.
- (Preferred) Experience with other payroll systems, including Gusto, UKG Pro, and/or UKG Ready.
- (Preferred) Practical experience in payroll environments spanning multiple companies or states
- (Preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- (Preferred) Experience with data migration, system integration, or API-based systems

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Japanese preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical/system solutions

Compensation
- $70,000-90,000 (Base Salary) + Profit sharing *
