Responsibilities

  • Whether it's trading cards, fashion, electronics, or live plants, our sellers are building real businesses across hundreds of categories.

  • The Enterprising Engineering team, nested within our Seller Engineering org, supports the needs of our largest and most complex sellers.
  • As sellers grow their businesses on Whatnot, their needs evolve-and this team builds the systems and tooling to support them at scale, including integrations with e-commerce platforms, WMS, ERPs, and accounting software.
  • This Customer Success Engineer will operate at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer partnership-working directly with enterprise sellers and their technical teams to design, implement, and support custom integrations on top of Whatnot's APIs and infrastructure.
  • You'll help enterprise partners navigate complex workflows across inventory, logistics, order management, and operational systems while partnering closely with internal engineering, product, and account teams.
  • solving real customer problems while helping shape how enterprise support evolves at one of the fastest-growing live commerce platforms in the world.
  • Experience building bespoke solutions on top of an existing internal framework.
  • Ability to take ownership of an ambiguous area and define and then drive impact.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent product instincts.
  • You first think about users rather than the best technical solution.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate customer needs to engineering product teams.
  • Ability to flexibly work across multiple workstreams, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Shopify, Channel Advisor, Magento, and other ecommerce SaaS products a plus.
