About the role
- This role would be working in a highly technical and fast paced environment, providing Quality Assurance expertise, testing cutting edge hardware, software, firmware and mobile implementations.
- They oversee the day-to-day activities; train team members on new procedures and tools.
- The role is essentially the step prior to the QA Manager role.
Requirements
- Experience in leading teams of up to 5 members
- 5 years of work experience with at least 3 types of QA tools (Auto Testing, Data Management, Test Case Management, Defect Tracking, or Performance/Load)
- Experience testing applications in Web, Mobile (iOS, Android, Windows), Java or.NET etc
- Experience in database backend testing.
- Experience in Non-GUI applications testing like backend, web services and middleware systems
- Experience in SQL and UNIX commands
- Automation test tool experience in tools such as QTP, Selenium, etc.·
Nice to have
- Experience decomposing requirements into use cases and UML artifacts
- Experience with planning and conducting JAD sessions with business and technical community
- Kronos experience
