About the role

  • Outpatient clinical sessions will primarily take place at the following locations: Children's Specialty Care Centers in West County, South County, and Wentzville (anticipate opening late 2027).

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients/families in accordance with established clinic/hospital standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Advanced Practical Nurse licensure (or ability to successfully obtain licensure within three months of date of hire).
  • All qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job, absent undue hardship.
  • All external candidates receiving an offer for employment will be required to submit to pre-employment screening for this position.
  • All offers are contingent upon successful completion of required screening.
  • Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis in the Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Certain/additional certifications may be necessary based on area of specialty.
  • Basic Life Support certification (Online Basic Life Support certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the Basic Life Support requirements).
  • Graduate of PA program.
  • Current PA licensure to practice in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location, or ability to obtain within three months of date of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).
