About the role

  • Specific focus is on sanitation and quality results (HACCP and SQF), health and safety, good manufacturing practices and productivity.
  • Other focus areas are labour relations, employee scheduling/staffing, cost improvements, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • shift leads the production department to ensure that qualitative and quantitative measures included in the operating plan are met.
  • Ensures consistent application of best practices towards product evaluation, food safety and quality to support and maintain Agropur's quality standards.
  • Supports the operation of the HACCP team to ensure that the facility and documentation are suitable for third party/customer audits to maintain the SQF/ HACCP status at the plant.

Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in a related field or other relevant training.
  • 3-5 years experience supervisory experience in food or pharma industry.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance systems (GMP, HACCP and SQF).
  • Knowledge of SAP (an asset).

Compensation

  • 71 200$ to 89 000$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)
