Responsibilities

  • Business Strategy Support:
  • Partner with business leaders to understand key objectives and develop financial strategies that align with the overall business goals.
  • Lead the budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts.
  • Support the identification and implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
  • Help optimize resource allocation and ensure that spending aligns with business priorities.
  • Decision Support:
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, and HR.
  • Lead on local statutory and tax compliance, via third party advisors.
  • Support internal audits and implement best practices for financial controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, in addition to a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, preferably with a background in accounting, compliance, business partnering, financial analysis, or FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis).
  • Experience in working closely with non-financial business leaders is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
