About the role

  • Walker Consultants is seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing Structural Engineering team!
  • Your work will directly contribute to creating resilient, innovative, and lasting solutions for our clients and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or contribute to the preparation of project documents, schedules, and budgets.
  • Perform structural modeling, analysis, and design for gravity and lateral systems in concrete, masonry, and steel structures.
  • Visit construction sites to observe progress, prepare field reports, and respond to design-related questions.
  • Mentor and coordinate engineers, design staff, and technical personnel, supporting training and professional development.
  • Develop repair strategies, restoration schemes, and technical recommendations.
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Build and maintain client relationships; promote Walker's consulting services to new and existing clients.

Requirements

  • Structural Engineering (SE) licensure required.

Nice to have

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited University, Master's degree preferred.

Compensation

  • Annual discretionary bonus program
