About the role
- Job Description: The Maintenance Technician's primary goal is to provide exceptional service to our residents.
- The Maintenance Technician will work hand-in-hand with the Maintenance Supervisor to provide skilled, efficient and professional service.
- Through dedication and uncompromised service, this position can be promoted to Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements
- Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance coverage.
- EPA certification preferred. If required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.

Nice to have
- Common area maintenance includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, pressure washing, cleaning windows etc.
- Assume primary responsibility for the safe condition of all equipment or structures in area of expertise.
- Enter any newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Observe all safety rules.
- EPA certification preferred.

Skills
- Possess effective time management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to change in a composed manner.
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
- Maintenance experience & knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to communicate clearly with the residents.
- Ability to work cooperatively and in a teamwork environment.
- Willing to work on-call hours
