About the role

  • Ensures an accurate and readable recording using deductive reasoning to trouble shoot minor problems and make adjustments as needed during the procedure.
  • This position analyzes data during the recording, making certain that the information being obtained is valid and interpretable.
  • Internal customers: All levels of nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team.

  • As an EEG/END Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for and performing tests that record the electrical activity of the brain and nervous system, such as electroencephalograms (EEG) and evoked potentials (EP).
  • You will operate specialized equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide the resulting data to physicians for diagnosis routine and long-term EEG's.
  • Ideal candidate will have 1 year experience in performing EEG's independently.
