About the role

  • We are seeking a highly analytical and strategically minded FP&A Manager to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as a senior individual contributor, reporting to Director FP&A.
  • In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data systems and executive-level strategy.
  • You will serve as a power administrator for our financial planning software while owning a Business Unit P&L and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • You take a collaborative approach to problem-solving and build effective relationships with cross-functional departments to deliver results.
  • Support company-wide financial planning process
  • Develop trusted relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders and business partners as a key point of contact for Finance
  • Drive business unit and functional level financial forecasts that accurately predict business performance in order to manage towards desired outcomes
  • Support strategic short and long-term business decisions through financial modeling and analysis of investment opportunities
  • Fandom's Gaming division manages the online video game retailer Fanatical.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline, with 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance and operational roles
  • ability to turn data into actionable insights and recommendations via business models and reporting
  • First-hand knowledge of online advertising or e-commerce
  • Experience with using SQL, BI and analytics tools

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced skills in using Excel and google sheets
