Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Producer and Senior Producer or network leadership.
Requirements
- Must be able to create dynamic graphic and video elements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in journalism or related field.
- Five or more years' experience in national or major-market news
- Prior segment producing experience required
- Prior line producing and live control room experience is helpful
- Must exhibit strong news judgment and editorial sensibilities
- Strong broadcast newswriting skills are required
- Must be self-directing, self-motivating and able to work will with a diverse group of people
- Must interact well with on-air talent, news managers, videographers, production, digital and engineering staff
- Should be able to handle stress, including short deadlines
- Should be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work assigned shifts and be on call during overnights, mornings, and weekends/holidays
- Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 (per experience)
