About the role

  • ERG offers multidisciplinary teams with nationally recognized skills in engineering, science, economics, public health, informational technology, and communications.
  • Indian Head, MD, is approximately 30 miles from Washington, DC, 25 miles from Alexandria, VA, and 60 miles from Fredericksburg, VA.

Responsibilities

  • ERG is a research and consulting firm that provides a wide range of support to federal, state, and commercial clients.
  • ERG is seeking a Junior Facilities Planner to support the planning, development, and execution of facility and infrastructure planning initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Community Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Planning, or a related field
  • The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

  • 0-3 years of professional experience in facilities planning, urban planning, campus planning, infrastructure planning, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare technical documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple assignments
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
