About the role
- Employees in this position work under close supervision and are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the public areas of academic and administrative buildings.
- Duties also include assisting with the maintenance of assigned grounds and performing all assigned custodial tasks.
- This position requires the flexibility to work any shift or schedule.
Requirements
- This postion will be required to work second shift.
- Overtime may be required as needed.
- Facilities employees may also be required to report to work during emergency closures or inclement weather to perform essential operations, including snow and ice removal.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and procedures preferred.
- Ability to understand and use the materials and equipment used in custodial work.
- Ability to follow simple instructions.
