About the role

The Network Engineering team sits within Technical Operations at Constant Contact.
We operate as a 24x7 team with on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain tooling to automate network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring
Operate and support a broad infrastructure stack across data center and corporate environments: routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and WAN connectivity
Support PCI compliance requirements as they relate to network infrastructure
Collaborate with cloud engineers to deploy and manage network infrastructure on AWS
Partner with other operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
Generate and maintain accurate network documentation

Requirements

3+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale enterprise and data center environments
Strong Ansible or Terraform experience is required
Must be proficient with Python and Bash scripting skills.
Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD automation practices
Linux proficiency, including deploying and operating monitoring tools
Solid working experience with routing and switching technologies

Nice to have

Hands-on experience configuring security appliances, switches, and routers
Palo Alto, Juniper (SRX, EX/QFX), and F5 experience strongly preferred

This role requires someone based in the Boston area who can work a flexible hybrid schedule from our Waltham, MA office.

Participate in hardware lifecycle projects - planning, refreshes, and decommissions
Contribute to DDoS mitigation strategies and broader network security initiatives
Participate in the 24x7 on-call rotation
