Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed maintenance schedules for routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment availability to optimize maintenance execution.
- Support risk assessments, permit-to-work processes, and job hazard analyses (JHA).
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance schedules and work history.
- Scheduler, Maintenance is responsible for developing and coordinating maintenance schedules to ensure the efficient execution of preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities in an LNG facility.
- This role involves collaborating with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to optimize resource allocation, minimize downtime, and maintain compliance with safety and reliability standards.
Requirements
- Journeyman or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Controls, Project Management, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in maintenance within LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
- Proficiency in CMMS software (SAP, Prometheus, MS Project, P6) for scheduling and work order management.
- Strong knowledge of LNG plant maintenance processes, reliability practices, and equipment types.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Eligible to be issued Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) are required.
- Experience with shutdown/turnaround planning in LNG or process facilities.
