Develop and maintain deep relationships with real estate sponsors, developers, brokers, and capital markets participants.
Partner with internal investment teams to evaluate opportunities and present transactions to the Real Estate Investment Committee.
Lead borrower negotiations and manage transactions from origination through closing, including interfacing with leverage providers.
The role requires a proven ability to generate proprietary deal flow, structure complex transactions, and partner with internal investment teams to deliver attractive investment opportunities to Oaktree's funds.
This professional will strengthen strategic lending relationships and drive underwriting across real estate debt strategies.
Providing training and career development opportunities and emphasizing strong support for our local communities through philanthropic initiatives are essential to our culture.

9+ years of experience in real estate debt origination, or institutional real estate investing.
Proven track record sourcing and executing private real estate debt investments.
Experience supervising junior analysts.
Bachelor's Degree from a top university with a record of academic excellence.
Extensive travel to meet new clients and visit potential investment opportunities is required.
Experience Required:

$250,000-$275,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement.
The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.

Structure and negotiate real estate financing transactions, including senior loans, mezzanine debt, and preferred equity.
